Receiving data without knowing the syncword

Is it possible to receive data without knowing the syncword?
I know the exact carrier frequency, the data-rate , the bandwith and the frequency deviation.

Should be possible if you set the sync word length to 0 on the receiver side. Have you tried this?

It might be an issue doing it this way since the syncword will be considered as part of the payload. In explicit length mode, the receiver will cut the reception before the end of the packet.

what about implicit mode with CRC disabled?

It might be possible in this case - you just need to include the syncword length - if you know it - in your payload length.

According to the datasheet the syncword length must be between 1 and 8 bytes.
It looks like a 0 length is not allowed.
