Orthogonality test among Spreading factors and frequency combination is failed

Test 1:
We have configured two nodes running on same frequency and different SF. We are using

Lora-net / LoRaMac-node Software stack on B-L072Z-LRWAN1 board.
Using picocellGW as a gateway and chirpstack network server.

Observed a packet loss / collision while Transmitting uplinks from two nodes on same time with different SF. Suspecting that the two signals are not orthogonal.

We refered standard datasheet of Sx1276 and few semtech blogs mentioning that two different SF are orthogonal to each other and will not interfere with each other and leads to lossless packet transmission.
But we observed many losses with above mentioned setup.

Test 2:
We have configured two nodes running on different frequency and same SF. Observed losses with this scenario as well.

Could anyone else faced the same issue? does anyone know the reason behind this?

Thank you.
