Connecting two SX125X together back-to-back

Okay, I have a theoretical question that does not involve LoRa by itself.

Is it possible to connect SX1255 (433 MHz) and SX1257 (868MHz) in a sort of an RF bridge? Meaning, whatever (modulation agnostic) is received at 433 MHz tuned frequency is simply passed through to 868 MHz tuned frequency via “I and Q” lines. This will not be a practical implementation of such a device, but merely to see if it would be possible. I have drawn a connection diagram here:

Microcontroller is in the middle, talking to both ICs and initializing them in a way that whatever is received on one is simply clocked into the other one.

Full-duplex operation is not required.

Any thoughts? Remember, this is just a theoretical experiment.

Thanks
